Pics. This diagram doesn't have the drl, and the fuse numbers don't match the manual, so i don't think i have the right one. The image above is an alternator from a 2002 ford ranger.

I have replaced the starter 3 times and 2 alternators and am still having the same problem. This is from a 1985 ford f350 with the 6.9l diesel engine. I removed these two wires from the fcim connector c2402b, white wire on pin 23, and the brown wire on pin 24.

Alternator is good and the battery is good but there's something not letting it charge i've had both.

With the wiring diagram i have, i am leaning towards the switch or a loose wire behind it.
